B Factory Beeswax Food Wraps - Raquel Maciel collection
Local scientific illustrator, Raquel Maciel, has created this beautiful pattern just for us, highlighting native plants and bees of Quebec. You will find Bombus impatiens, the Eastern bumble bee, Agapostemon virescens, the Bicolored striped sweat bee, (and official bee of Toronto!), Apis mellifera, the honey bee, and although not native to North America, it is what gives us honey and beeswax that we so cherish. The beautiful blooms come from Chamenerion angustifolium, or Fireweed, which are first to rejuvenate lands after fires, and the Symphyotrichum laeve, the Smooth aster.
B Factory's beeswax food wraps are washable, reusable, compostable, and anti-bacterial. This replacement for your plastic wrap keeps your food fresher and longer than plastic. The blend of beeswax, tree resin and jojoba oil creates a long-lasting wrap that works fantastic for covering a dish, as well as wrapping your avocados, cheeses, herbs, cucumbers, peppers, melons...
