Laucolo (Laurence Deschamps-Léger), a local agro-food artist, is passionate about the importance of local food and food security. This has led her to create illustrations that highlight, celebrate and bring awareness about the biodiversity and seasonality of our food system.  In this same vein, she has created for us an homage to saving leftovers. And what better way than with our beeswax food wraps!

B Factory's beeswax food wraps are washable, reusable, compostable, and anti-bacterial. This replacement for your plastic wrap keeps your food fresher and longer than plastic. The blend of beeswax, tree resin and jojoba oil creates a long-lasting wrap that works fantastic for covering a dish, as well as wrapping your avocados, cheeses, herbs, cucumbers, peppers, melons...

Hand-made.

Depending on the batch of wax, colour will vary.

Suggestions:

Small: Perfect for ends of cucumbers, half of an onion, tomato, or lemon. Covering a small bowl, or even opening a jar!
Medium: Half an avocado, cheese, part of a red or green pepper
Large: Fresh herbs, bread, sandwiches, cover a salad bowl
Giant: baguettes, covering cake or lasagna pans, loaves of bread

Care:

Rinse with cold water, using a sponge or cloth to wipe. Can use a mild unscented dish soap if needed.
