For the food wraps (sandwich included), use cold to lukewarm water, and wipe off with a sponge or cloth. Soap is usually unneccessary. Foods like mustard, carrots, red peppers may leave a stain, and that's okay. Only use soap if, after wiping down, you still smell the food item. That's my "sniff" test, and I use soap on the very rare occasion.
Sandwich wraps: the outside can get wet, and I do use soap if there's food on the cloth. Hang to dry.
Be careful of something extremely greasy, as the oils, if left on the beeswax cloth for a long time, will penetrate it and you won't be able to get it out.
Cheese is fine, as long as it's not sitting on a hot counter ;-) Cheese wrapped in the wrap in the fridge is perfect!
I'd avoid raw meats, just for safety.
The food wraps last about a year. After which, you can compost.
The sandwich wraps last around 2 years or more.
In order to keep shipping costs to a minimum, I ship by Canada Post letter. That means there is no tracking number. I am not responsible for any packages that get lost or damaged in the mail. You can request an upgrade on shipping and pay extra to have a tracking number.
Please take note of the expected shipping date. I keep the wraps as available, even when stocks are low, but the shipping date will change to reflect the expected ship date to take into consideration production time.
Also, as I ship by Canada Post, shipping estimates will vary. Usually it's 1 - 2 weeks or shorter in US and Canada, but those times can vary.
